  1. don’t worry about shortness of video, it is the quality that counts; and plenty of that.
I think I asked you on Plurk to show the cup and saucer. It is lovely.
Definitely keep for yourself!!! I have seen rose patterns in side cups but not thistles. May be part of a set made for a Scottish family. Could be worth researching.
Word of warning: hide your shirt from Erin. You know how she loves owls!!!!!

  2. Hello 🙂

I just wanted to say that you do a great with the podcast!

I do have a question for you though. I love the scarf that you are making for a friend. Do you know a good tutorial or How-To for knitting with two colors and keep one color running up the side? I’m not sure how to do this and don’t know what it is called exactly and i have searched for a tutorial or “how to” but can not find anything. TIA!!

Well, I can try to describe it- Essentially, you cast on the width you want. Then, you knit 1 row 1×1 ribbing. Next, join the 2nd color and knit 2 rows of 1×1 ribbing. You’ll be back at the starting edge at this point, with color 1 dangling just below color 2. Now, just pick up color 1 and start knitting with it- there will be a little line of that color running up the side, but it’s only about 1 cm or so, so it won’t catch on anything! Just continue like that. I’ll see if I can find a youtube video that shows someone doing it.
